Casio Mercury Free, 2019
Custom trophy design for Casio's projector division.
Award presented by Casio Computer Co to educational institutions that are committed to sustainability and energy savings through the revolutionary Laser-LED ecoprojector technology.
For this specific design for the CASIO brand, the main condition was that it be wall-mounted and have dimensions large enough to be readable from a distance.
In terms of design, to reinforce the corporate identity and promotional campaign, we incorporated the idea of colors and a white geometry that resembled the shape of the brand's ecoprojector.
Made from recycled HDPE boards from bottle caps and a water-painted iron plate with YAG laser engraving, the result was an elegant and balanced composition between the CASIO logo and the Mercury-Free recognition.
